Dear international students, during your studies and life at Yantai Vocational College, your safety is our top priority. To ensure your safety and well-being both on and off campus, we have carefully compiled the following safety precautions. Please read them carefully and follow them strictly.
交通安全
Traffic Safety
1. 校园内设有专用步行道与自行车道，请在规定区域内通行，注意观察周边车辆动态。
Dedicated pedestrian and bicycle lanes are set up within the campus. Please walk or ride within the designated areas and pay attention to the movement of surrounding vehicles.
2. 骑行电动自行车时，必须正确佩戴头盔，严格遵守限速规定，禁止逆行或闯红灯。我校禁止电动车入校。不得将电动车电瓶带入室内（教室及宿舍）充电。
When riding electric bicycles, helmets must be worn correctly, and speed limits must be strictly adhered to. Riding against traffic or running red lights is prohibited. Electric vehicles are not allowed on our campus. Electric vehicle batteries may not be brought indoors (classrooms and dormitories) for charging.
3. 校内车辆行驶速度较低，但仍需注意路口及停车场区域的车辆进出，避免意外发生。
Although vehicles travel at lower speeds within the campus, it is still necessary to be cautious at intersections and parking areas where vehicles enter and exit to avoid accidents.
4.熟悉中国交通法规，牢记车辆靠右行驶原则，过马路时优先使用人行横道、天桥或地下通道。
Familiarize yourself with Chinese traffic regulations and always remember to drive or walk on the right side of the road. When crossing the street, prioritize using crosswalks, pedestrian bridges, or underground passages.
5. 乘坐公共交通时，提前查询线路信息，有序排队上下车，乘车时站稳扶好，避免追逐打闹。
When taking public transportation, check route information in advance, get on and off the bus in an orderly manner, and stand firm while riding to avoid chasing and fighting.
6. 选择正规出租车或网约车服务，上车前核对车牌信息，全程系好安全带，避免与司机争执或泄露个人隐私。
Choose licensed taxi or ride-hailing services, verify the license plate information before boarding, fasten seat belts throughout the ride, and avoid arguments with the driver or disclosing personal information.
寝室用电安全
Dormitory Electricity Safety
1. 宿舍内禁止同时使用多个大功率电器（如热水壶、电暖器等），以防电路超负荷引发火灾。
The simultaneous use of multiple high-power electrical appliances (such as kettles, electric heaters, etc.) is prohibited in dormitories to prevent fire hazards due to circuit overload.
2. 离开宿舍前，请关闭所有电器电源并拔掉插头，防止电器长时间通电引发事故。
Before leaving the dormitory, please turn off and unplug all electrical appliances to prevent accidents caused by prolonged energization of electrical appliances.
3. 严禁私自改装电路或使用劣质排插，若发现设备异常（如发热、异响），立即停用并联系工作人员处理。
It is strictly prohibited to modify circuits privately or use poor-quality plugs. If you find any abnormalities in the equipment (e.g., heat, strange noise), stop using it immediately and contact the staff to deal with it.
4. 宿舍内禁止使用明火（蜡烛、传统蚊香等），如需驱蚊，请选用电蚊香液并置于通风处。
The use of open flames (candles, traditional mosquito coils, etc.) is prohibited in dormitories. If mosquito repellent is needed, please use electric mosquito repellent liquid and place it in a well-ventilated area.
防溺水安全
Drowning Prevention Safety
1. 校园及周边水域（如景观湖、海滩等）禁止私自下水游泳或戏水，谨防溺水风险。
Swimming or playing on campus and surrounding water bodies (such as scenic lakes, beaches, etc.) is prohibited to prevent drowning risks.
2.建议选择配备救生员的正规游泳场馆活动，入水前充分热身，身体不适时避免游泳，必要时穿戴救生装备。
It is recommended to choose formal swimming pools with lifeguards. Warm up thoroughly before entering the water, avoid swimming when feeling unwell, and wear life-saving equipment when necessary.
3. 若发现他人溺水，切勿盲目施救，应第一时间呼救并拨打急救电话120。
If someone else is found drowning, do not attempt to rescue them blindly. Call for help immediately and dial 120 for emergency assistance.
生命财产安全
Personal and Property Safety
1. 尊重文化多样性，以友好态度处理人际矛盾，通过合法途径解决纠纷。
Respect cultural diversity, handle interpersonal conflicts with a friendly attitude, and resolve disputes through legal channels.
2. 夜间外出尽量结伴而行，选择照明充足、人流密集的路线，并提前告知室友或老师行程安排。
When going out at night, try to do so in groups, choose well-lit and crowded routes, and inform your roommate or teacher of your schedule in advance.
3. 严格遵守宿舍晚间签到制度（21:30前返回），特殊情况需向值班教师报备。
Strictly adhere to the dormitory's evening sign-in system (return before 21:30). For special circumstances, report to the duty teacher in advance.
4. 警惕陌生人搭讪，不轻信他人承诺，避免透露个人信息（如住址、账户等），防范诈骗风险。
Be alert to strangers approaching you, do not easily trust others’ promises, avoid disclosing personal information (such as address, account details, etc.), and guard against fraud risks.
5. 如遇紧急事件（盗窃、人身伤害等），立即拨打110报警，并联系留学生管理科或班主任。
In case of emergencies (theft, personal injury, etc.), immediately dial 110 to report to the police and contact the International Student Affairs Office or your head teacher.
医疗健康安全
Medical and Health Safety
1. 注重个人卫生，勤洗手、常消毒高频接触物品（如手机、门把手），保持宿舍通风及被褥清洁。
Focus on personal hygiene, wash your hands frequently, regularly disinfect high-touch items (such as mobile phones, door handles), keep dormitories ventilated, and maintain clean bedding.
2. 减少非必要聚集活动，避免接触有呼吸道症状者。
Reduce non-essential gatherings and avoid contact with individuals showing respiratory symptoms.
3. 根据天气变化及时增减衣物，预防感冒及免疫力下降。
Dress appropriately based on weather changes to prevent colds and immune system suppression.
4. 每日进行适量户外运动，增强身体素质。
Engage in moderate outdoor exercise daily to enhance physical fitness.
5.保持均衡饮食，多食用新鲜果蔬，避免生冷食物。
Maintain a balanced diet, consume plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoid raw or cold foods.
6. 规律作息，保证充足睡眠，以最佳状态投入学习生活。
Follow a regular sleep schedule to ensure adequate sleep and be in the best state for your studies and life.
